Hydrodynamic Conclusion

  • The residence time in the estuary is of the order of 25 days. This value would decrease in southern wind conditions, and increase in northern wind conditions or with decreasing river discharge.

     

  • The residence time varies from one region to another and regions closer to the sea are not necessarily regions with smaller residence time.
